Welcome to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital – where providing high quality, compassionate medical services is our priority.

We are a 127 bed hospital offering a wide range of inpatient/outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services to meet the needs of our patients. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are licensed providers for the Medicare and Medi-Cal programs, along with many HMO’s, PPO’s and managed care organizations.

We have been serving our community for over 70 years providing a wide range of services including Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgical, Intensive, Coronary and Sub-Acute Care along with 24-hour Emergency Services, Cardio-Pulmonary and Rehabilitation Services. The Emergency Department physicians are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So if you have a medical emergency don’t hesitate to come to our Emergency Department for prompt and efficient care. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Jerry Clute

Interim Chief Executive Officer

Jerry Clute is an extremely experienced, well-rounded hospital executive with over 30 years of experience.  Jerry was most recently CEO of Providence Tarzana Medical Center and is bilingual in English and Spanish.  He has significant experience in hospital management with proven expertise in strategic planning, physician recruitment, program development and financial management.  Jerry has worked with a number of reputable health organizations, including Tenet, Verity Health (formerly Daughters of Charity) and Dignity.
Jerry got his start in healthcare as a Radiologic Technologist (he still holds an active license) and progressively moved into management and administrative roles.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s in Health Administration.
